JAKARTA, Indonesia — (2 November 2025) Indonesian IT consulting and services company ICS Compute today announced that it has achieved the AWS Agentic AI Competency, the newest addition to the AWS AI Competency program. The announcement coincides with AWS re:Invent, AWS’s annual global cloud and AI conference where the Agentic AI category was introduced for the first time.

During the launch session at re:Invent, AWS explained that the Agentic AI Competency recognizes partners capable of building autonomous AI systems that can understand context, make decisions, plan task sequences, use tools, and execute actions independently within defined guardrails. The competency spans three categories: Agentic AI Applications, Agentic AI Tools, and Agentic AI Consulting Services.

ICS Compute met all competency requirements through AWS evaluations across architectural design, security posture, enterprise integration, use of Amazon Bedrock Agents, and customer implementation evidence demonstrating that Agentic AI solutions can operate reliably at production scale.

As part of its Agentic AI capabilities, ICS Compute also brings forward Redpumpkin, its Agentic AI Assistant Platform, as a concrete implementation of production-ready agentic systems. Available on AWS Marketplace, Redpumpkin enables organizations to build and deploy customizable AI assistants securely within their own AWS environments. These assistants go beyond basic chat; they can reason over context, execute multi-step workflows, and autonomously support business operations. Redpumpkin reflects ICS Compute’s commitment not only to strong architectural foundations but also to delivering a platform that customers can use directly within their operational environments.

In AWS’s official announcement, ICS Compute appeared in the global Agentic AI partner lineup alongside major international technology companies including Accenture, Deloitte, and PwC. For ICS Compute, this recognition affirms that its architectural, security, and implementation approaches, developed entirely by its engineering team in Indonesia, meet global standards within the AWS ecosystem.

Budhi Wibawa, Founder & CEO of ICS Compute, noted that this milestone marks an important step for AI adoption in the region.  “AWS re:Invent is the right moment to introduce a new chapter for Agentic AI. AI is no longer about generating answers; it is evolving into systems that can take responsible actions to support real work,” Budhi said. “The AWS Agentic AI Competency validates our ability to design and deploy such systems in production environments, including through the Redpumpkin platform, which now supports mission-critical workflows for our customers.”

Budhi added that organizations are entering a new phase of AI adoption. “Over the past two years, we’ve seen a consistent need across enterprises: they want AI that does more than respond, they want AI that actually works inside the processes they rely on.”

He explained that Agentic AI enables systems that understand multi-system context, make autonomous micro-decisions, and execute workflow steps that previously required manual effort. The introduction of this competency at AWS re:Invent, he said, provides clearer industry standards for how autonomous systems should be built.

With this competency, ICS Compute is strategically positioned to help organizations begin their Agentic AI journey. AWS notes that customers working with AI Competency Partners move 25 percent faster from proof-of-concept to production and typically launch projects 30 days sooner than customers working without a specialized partner.

AWS also emphasized that Agentic AI is the next evolution of generative AI. While generative AI produces content, Agentic AI produces actions, executing business processes, running workflows, retrieving information across systems, or coordinating multi-step tasks through agents.

For organizations, ICS Compute’s specialization, together with Redpumpkin, provides confidence that they are working with a partner validated by AWS across architecture, responsible AI practices, security, and real-world customer success. Agentic AI solutions can address a wide range of use cases, including knowledge operations, intelligent process automation, customer operations, financial automation, and supply chain optimization.

“For us, this is not just about technology. It is about helping organizations run their daily work in smarter, faster, and more accountable ways,” Budhi concluded.
